Louis van Gaal to contest FA Charge made against him

Manchester United finally overcame a stubborn Cambridge United side after two legs of football, but there was some controversy after the first game. Louis van Gaal has claimed that the referee on that night, was against his team giving the home side the majority of the decisions.

“In 30 years as a trainer-coach, I’ve never been charged. I do not think I said something wrong.” Van Gaal said. Who then went on to add he will be contesting the charge.

Its good to see that he thinks he hasn’t done anything wrong and that he will contest it, rather than laying down and letting the FA charge him. I just hope that if they reject his appeal, he doesn’t get a further fine and possibly a touchline ban also.

Welcome to Manchester United, Louis…
