Louis van Gaal turns down job offer as he looks set to stay at United

Manchester United Football Club could well have been scouting out a new manager for next season, with Louis van Gaal’s future seemingly up in the air due to a mixed bag of performances this season. However that may not be the case.

The latest reports coming out of Holland say that Louis van Gaal has turned down an offer to become the Director of Football for the Dutch national team, as he wants to continue on as Manchester United manager next season.

Personally I feel we should wait until the end of this term before making any decisions regarding the future of Louis van Gaal, particularly as he still has a trophy to play for.

Although I do feel for the board, as they’ll probably only have this one chance if they want to bring Jose Mourinho in as he’ll certainly be chasing a new job this summer.
