Luke Shaw makes incredible gesture to terminally ill Manchester United fan

Luke Shaw has barely featured for the Manchester United team this season, due to suffering that horrendous injury back in September. The young man is back in training, and hopes to return before this current campaign ends in a few weeks time.

That hasn’t dampened the spirits of the 20-year old however, and now, he could have just made one fans’ last wish come true in a really special way.

Luke Shaw heard about the tragic story of William Moore from Newton Heath, who has a terminal illness. Moore had one last dream to watch United play in an FA Cup final, and thanks to Luke Shaw he has been offered tickets for that game.

This is just superb from Luke Shaw. Stories like this are always heartbreaking, and for one of United’s senior players to step up to the plate and offer him tickets out of his own pocket is just outstanding.

Full credit to the young man for this, and hopefully he can get himself back on the pitch before the end of the season.
