Luke Shaw ruled out for four weeks with a hamstring injury

Manchester United’s new #3 Luke Shaw, has been ruled out for around four weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in training. The 19-year old left-back was infamously labeled ‘unfit’ by the new boss just a couple of weeks ago, and now finds himself sidelined for a month, meaning he’ll miss at least three Premier League games.

Whilst extremely frustrating for the fans, nobody will be more gutted than Luke Shaw himself. He would’ve been eager to make his Old Trafford debut this weekend, and that’ll now be put on hold until mid-September, with QPR away looking likely.

He’ll definitely miss the games against Swansea, Burnley and Sunderland, which when you think about it, this could’ve been a whole lot worse. Manchester United have no senior replacement for Shaw, so its looking like Ashley Young or Reece James will fill in at left-wingback.
