Manchester United has agreed personal terms with Arsenal star man Alexis Sanchez, but the move is being held up, according to El Mercurio, translated by The Sun.
Apparently, Henrikh Mkhitaryan holds the key to any deal going through, with the Armenia star reluctant to agree a move to Arsenal; which is highly understandable given their current predicament.
Sanchez is world-class, and up there amongst the best players in the country. Manchester United, in my opinion, are the front-runners to sign him at the moment, and they should do whatever it takes to bring him in.
If that means holding onto Mkhitaryan and then selling him to his preferred destination in the summer, then so be it, but you simply do not pass up the opportunity to sign Sanchez. Let’s be honest, United aren’t exactly short on cash, so why not just give Arsenal what they want and get the Chile star to Old Trafford as quickly as possible.
At the end of the day, I eventually think a deal will be done, it’s just a matter of time as both clubs will be trying to seek out the best deal for themselves. It’s just a waiting game.
