Manchester United’s season has been rather topsy-turvy, though Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should get time to get this club back on the up.
The Red Devils did make some brilliant signings over the summer, though, with the Baby Faced Assassin proving that he knows what is required when making moves in the transfer market.
Amongst the top performers is Daniel James. The Wales winger hit the ground running with some stunning Reds goals and simply hasn’t looked back. However, United are somewhat concerned about the #21.
According to The Sun, Solskjaer is set to hand the star 21-year-old a rest, amid fears of burnout as the wide man has already played eighteen times for club and country this term.
Initially, it was thought James would be eased into proceedings, but he has been virtually an ever-present due to his brilliant displays coupled with injuries decimating the squad.
Understandably, Solskjaer doesn’t want James to be added to that seemingly ever-growing injury list, particularly as he has been so brilliant since arriving.
Hopefully, James gets ample time off to rest, recharge the batteries before he’s ready to hit the ground running ahead of the notoriously busy winter period. Leaving him out of the squad to take on Partizan Belgrade tonight would be a good start.
