Manchester United’s future has drastically turned around with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the wheel.

The Baby Faced Assassin has given the club a much better outlook overall. For that, we have to be grateful.

However, that hasn’t stopped one staff member leaving the Theatre of Dreams. As yesterday, fitness coach Gary Walker confirmed via social media that he’ll be leaving United.

Walker had spent eleven years at Old Trafford – playing his own role in multiple trophy wins down the years. Although his name probably isn’t a household one, he obviously did a brilliant job to remain at such an elite club for over a decade.

It’s never nice seeing someone leave, but when you’ve got the opportunity to better yourself and move forward in your career, you have to do what’s best for you and your family.

For Walker, another big challenge apparently looms. The Daily Express report that Walker is off to the MLS to possibly work with FC Cincinnati as Director of Sport Performance. This is an obvious step up in terms of role, and no doubt he’ll be relishing the chance to work with some of America’s biggest stars.

Thanks for everything, Gary, and good luck in the future.
