Man United eyeing summer move for insanely talented teenager, could cost £100million

Manchester United Football Club will be looking to right a few wrongs next summer in terms of transfers. The 2018 window was a poor one, it has set us back massively.

However, it seems planning for next year has already begun. According to The Sun, the Red Devils are amongst a whole host of Premier League sides weighing up a move for Borussia Dortmund superstar, Jadon Sancho.

I feel like it was only a matter of time until we were linked to the talented Englishman who is tearing things up in the Bundesliga at the moment; particularly after earning his first Three Lions call-up just this month.

The big stumbling block could be the transfer fee. Apparently, Dortmund are chasing in excess of £100million to let him go, which is remarkable given the fact that it only cost them roughly £8million to sign him just last summer.

You’d imagine Manchester City would have first dibs on the 18-year-old, but wouldn’t it be ironic if they signed him back in a mega-money deal after spending the last two years mocking United for bringing Paul Pogba back to the Theatre of Dreams…

Personally, I’d advise the young man to stay put. There aren’t many better when it comes to youth development than Dortmund. I’d urge him to continue learning his trade, keep working hard and eventually, the right offer will come his way.
