Manchester United’s wining run continued with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men beating Leicester City 1-0.
The performance was by no means vintage, but at this stage it doesn’t matter how you win, it’s that you win. Marcus Rashford scored the sole goal of the game after a sublime ball from Paul Pogba. From that point forward, the Red Devils were happy to sit back.
In the second-half, Solskjaer began to make the changes as he looked to see out the game. One decision was to bring on Romelu Lukaku, and tactially, it does make sense as you expect him to hold the ball up and get United up the field.
However, Lukaku struggled. The ball was bouncing off him which only increased the pressure on the Red Devils. What was even more shambolic was the laziness in which he was playing.
He’d been on the field for about 5 minutes and Lukaku was just ambling around the field looking like he didn’t have a care in the world. That certainly won’t go down well with Solskjaer, or the fans, who took to social media to express their displeasure…
