Over the summer, Manchester United Football Club took the decision to move away from both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.
Well, in the early season, that was certainly hitting the Red Devils hard as a lack of goals became a real issue. Although Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have recently found their shooting boots, there’s still room for another forward within this squad.
They state that the Reds are favourites to sign the prolific 19-year-old in January, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s relationship with Haaland proving key. The pair previously worked together at Molde.
Haaland’s haul of 26 games in 18 goals has been turning heads all over Europe, so no doubt United would face stiff competition as they look to sign the talented-teen who is tearing it up in both Austrian and European football right now.
Apparently, RB Salzburg wants £85million to let Haaland leave, which is to be expected given the insane numbers he’s putting up at this point in time.
My only concern is whether his game can translate to English football, though you have to be impressed with the seven goals he has scored in the Champions League – which actually leads the tournament right now.
