For Manchester United, injuries have started to mount under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Several Red Devils were forced to withdraw from international duty with various problems. Although today, the Daily Express have provided a hugely positive injury boost for the Baby Faced Assassin.
They say that no fewer than five first-teamers are set to return to the fold for the Watford game. Naming Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford.
Both Eric Bailly and Antonio Valencia are also set to be fit to play, although the pair haven’t seen much on-field action of late.
This news couldn’t have come at a better time. United need bodies for a hectic month of April that is jam-packed with huge fixtures. Watford at home is a nice starting point, giving the club an opportunity to get back to winning ways before the real big games just keep on coming.
United’s injuries aren’t coincidental. There’s an obvious increase in work-load under this new regime, and no doubt in time the players will fully adjust and adapt. For now, though, it’s something that we just have to put up with as the football on the field is far better to watch.
