Man United handed double injury boost as Watford game looms

Manchester United have been handed a massive double injury boost as they gear up to take on Watford in the Premier League, the Daily Mirror report.

The English media outlet claim that both Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard have returned from their holiday, ready to help the club in the season’s run-in.

Both started as United were dumped out of the FA Cup last time out; although Martial has since pulled out from the France squad due to injury, while Lingard wasn’t even considered by Gareth Southgate.

Now, though, it looks as though the attacking duo are ready and raring to go as the Red Devils look to get their top four bid back on track this coming Saturday.

The final third is an area of the field where the club could be thin on numbers. Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford have also withdrawn from international duty over the last week or so – leaving Martial and Lingard with a real opportunity to cement their place in the side with some huge fixtures just on the horizon.

It’s good to hear that two of our top performers are back at the club and looking to get back out on the field. Hopefully, the pair can hit the ground running and help United on their way to a brilliant end to the season.
