Manchester United Football Club has been handed an early injury boost ahead of the eagerly anticipated derby match next month.
According to the IB Times, Manchester City will be without John Stones for the clash at Old Trafford in early December, due to a hamstring problem that’ll keep him out of action until 2018.
Stones, a talented Englishman, who signed from Everton a couple of summers ago, is vastly improving as a player and is an integral part of Pep Guardiola’s team at The Etihad.
However, it’ll be interesting to see how they cope without him, particularly when they head across the town to take on the Red Devils. Now, they’ll have to call upon someone else to fill that void, and hopefully, Romelu Lukaku will take advantage of whatever mismatch comes his way.
We have to be honest, City look great. They’ve had a relatively injury-free run to this point whereas United have had problems aplenty in that regard. Every little helps, as they say, and although it’s an early boost, it definitely works in our favour although you never like to see anyone go down with an injury.
