Man United identify how many more signings they want to make this summer :report

Manchester United have pushed a deal for Romelu Lukaku over the line, but their summer business won’t stop there if a report by the Manchester Evening News is anything to go by. They claim that the club are still after two new additions, with two players leaving.

Although no individuals are named, the report claims that the club wanted to sign four players. We’ve obviously added Victor Lindelof and the aforementioned Lukaku, and the two other players the Red Devils want to invest in is the holding midfield spot, as well as adding a winger.

The tour has already begun now and it’ll be frustrating to Jose Mourinho that he doesn’t have all of his signings acquired, because the earlier they can get involved, the quicker they’ll settle down into life.

I’d love to see AS Monaco’s Fabinho come in. He’s a player we’ve been linked quite heavily with, and in terms of holding midfielders, I don’t think there would be many better options. Ivan Perisic is another player who we’re rumoured to be interested in.

It’s quite tough to work out who else could leave Old Trafford this summer. We’ve already said goodbye to Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but if the article is correct and two more first-team squad players are on their way out, I’d guess at one being Adnan Januzaj and the other being a central defender – that’s just my opinion, however, and I could be completely wrong.
