Real Madrid superstar Marco Asensio could want out of the Spanish capital this summer, with both Manchester United and Chelsea circling.
That’s according to media outlet Diario Gol, translated by the Daily Express. Asensio, 22, is growing in frustration after a lack of playing time with Los Blancos, and could look to move away.
At this point in time, it’s the London Club who are winning the transfer battle, but as we know all-to-well, things can change pretty quickly; especially if the right offer comes in.
Asensio could potentially hold the key for Manchester United. Chance creation has become a real issue for Jose Mourinho’s squad at times. With no real cutting edge through the middle, the gifted attacker could well start pretty much every week for the Old Trafford club. One thing to remember, though, he’d certainly cost an awful lot of money in terms of transfer fee, whereas Madrid will be doing all they can to keep ahold of him. A potential swap deal involving Anthony Martial, anyone?
The brilliantly talented attacking midfielder is currently away on World Cup duty with Spain, so don’t expect to hear anything regarding a move away anytime soon, but it is one to keep in mind when Russia 2018 is over.
