Manchester United Football Club’s interest in Danny Rose has intensified over the last month, according to the Manchester Evening News. However, they’ll face competition from Inter Milan for his signature, and Tottenham Hotspur value the 27-year-old at around the £50million mark.
Jose Mourinho does have a fair few options at the left-back slot within his squad already, but I think it’s fair to say none of them are at that elite level. I guess the fact that Matteo Darmian, a predominantly right-sided player, is our first choice out there right now tells you everything you need to know.
As for interest in Rose, I like the Englishman, and I think he’d be a solid addition. He’d bring some more experience to a rather young back line, as well as having plenty of games under his belt at the highest level.
The Leeds academy product is at the centre of controversy at the moment, following a damning interview that he gave to The Sun, and his future is certainly up in the air in the wake of that.

The fact that a deal would cost the Red Devils £50million simply has to be off-putting for Edward Woodward. But, after Spurs managed to get that figure from the sale of Kyle Walker, I guess they have every right to charge that for their other starting full-back from last term.
