Manchester United Football Club have had scouts at every game loanee Dean Henderson has played this season.
That’s according to the Manchester Evening News, who say that Jose Mourinho is keeping a close eye on the shot-stopper who is impressing for Sheffield United.
The 21-year-old has played thirteen times for The Blades, as his development continues, largely thanks to the regular playing time that is currently coming his way.
Henderson is one of a long line of United goalkeepers with talent aplenty. Although we’ve had our struggles in between the sticks down the years, it’s an area the club have got drastically right over the last decade or so.
David de Gea is the best in the business, Sergio Romero is a decent back-up while Joel Pereira also has a bright future. Henderson’s goal right now is to keep working hard, play well and come back to Old Trafford a better player.
Following that, he’ll have the pre-season tour to look forward too. If he’s doing well, Mourinho won’t be afraid to stick him into his first-team plans despite all the talent that is in front of him at this point in time.
