Manchester United are leading the race to sign both Celtic’s Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele, reports the Daily Mirror.
With that said, they’ll face stiff competition from no fewer than sixteen other clubs, with all eyes seemingly on The Bhoys’ star duo after a scintillating year for them both.
It’s great to hear that Jose Mourinho’s men are seemingly the frontrunners at this point in time, with the Red Devils identifying Tierney and Dembele as potential long-term solutions for a couple of problem areas.
Our issue with left-backs has been present for quite some time, probably since Patrice Evra left. We’ve tried Luke Shaw but he can never keep fit, whereas Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian and Ashley Young just aren’t good enough.
Tierney, 20, is one of the most talented up and coming left-backs in world football right now, and I’d have full faith in his ability to make the step up to Premier League football.
Dembele, 21, is a striker. The Frenchman has been superb for Brendan Rodgers’ team, and he’d come in and offer a different option to the Red Devils. He’s young and still learning the game, but I’d trust him to find the back of the net if called upon.
