Man United make bold decision to loan out talented starlet, deal will cost £2.7m: report

Manchester United have agreed to loan out Andreas Pereira to Spanish side Valencia, according to COPE. The deal will cost the La Liga club €3m (£2.7m) for the season, and they’ll have no option to buy, but the Red Devils will have the opportunity to recall the 21-year-old if they so choose.

Pereira spent last season out on loan with Granada in La Liga and on the whole, he made a supremely positive impact, for me though, another loan move away is a worrying sign for his long-term future at Old Trafford.

The talented Brazilian is an excellent little player and he featured quite heavily during our pre-season tour. I was under the impression that he was going to be a key part of our squad this year, but unfortunately, he hasn’t been named in a matchday squad at all.

He’s at that point where regular game time is an absolute must if he is to further his career, I’m just gutted that it’ll be elsewhere rather than at Manchester United.

Perhaps he deserved an opportunity to prove his worth before he was shipped out on loan again. However, Valencia only have until 11:00pm GMT to get the deal pushed over the line so they’ll have to get a move on.
