Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is set to resolve his future imminently.
That’s according to The Independent, who says that his contract situation will be resolved shortly. Apparently, the former Everton midfielder is set to be mulling over a number of offers.
Furthermore, the Belgium international is trying to hold out for wages in excess of £125,000, to this point, it seems as though the Red Devils aren’t willing to meet those extremely high demands.
Honestly, at this point, the situation has dragged on for far too long, and a club with United’s stature simply shouldn’t be held to ransom by anyone; nevermind an average squad player whom large sections of the fans blatantly don’t like.
You’d have thought that even the player himself would want his future decided, as it does no good to anyone while he’s over in Russia trying to take part on the World Cup; but at the back of his mind, he’ll be planning his next domestic career move.
At first, I wanted him to stay, but now, I just want the saga to be over with. His contract expires in just a few days, and if we hear nothing beforehand, I’ll safely assume that he’s decided to move on.
