Man United must secure top-four finish to land talented winger: report

Manchester United need a big transfer window if they’re to put themselves in amongst the fight to win major honours.

Although the summer is still several months away, the Red Devils are already doing their forward-planning. In an exclusive from The Mirror, it is now being claimed that if the club want to land Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men must secure a top four finish.

Furthermore, the article claims that a bid in excess of £100million for the teenager may be too good to turn down for the Bundesliga giants.

The ex-Manchester City man has been in sensational form since moving to Germany and earning the regular playing time that his talent deserves and it’d be lovely to wind up City fans if he did make the move to Old Trafford.

Right-wing has been a real need for United for a few years now. Although Jesse Lingard has done a decent job out there, I still feel as though he’s better playing through the middle just in behind the striker.

Sancho would bring some much-needed creativity and pace to that area of the field, while also counting towards the homegrown quota that Premier League clubs have to fill. It seems like a no-brainer, right?
