Manchester United enjoyed a stellar February, particularly domestically. The Red Devils continue to impress in the Premier League, while also progressing into the FA Cup quarter-final.

With the month now over, the club’s official Twitter feed have announced the three players who have been nominated to win United’s Player of the Month award; and in my opinion, any of the three could win it…

Victor Lindelof, Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba have all been put up for the award; and it feels like it has been ages since we’ve had such a competitive personal trophy.

Let’s start with the Ice Man. Lindelof has been superb at the heart of our back four over the last few weeks. He has turned into a real calming presence back there, and with his up-turn in form, clean sheets have quickly followed.

Herrera’s been massively influential recently. He plays with an energy that is unmatched at Old Trafford, and against Chelsea, he was absolutely brilliant from first minute till last. Unfortunately, injury cut his month short but hopefully, he’ll be back soon.

We all know just how good Pogba is. It’s the leadership, the passion, the willingness to win, and, last but not least, the quality. He scores goals and carves out openings. The Frenchman is by far and away the most talented player at the club.

In the end, I think Pogba will probably win it, but I wouldn’t be against any of the other two lifting the trophy.
