Inter Milan are expected to find out by Wednesday if they have a chance of signing Alexis Sanchez on loan, according to the BBC.
Apparently, Inter are putting together a deal to be presented to United on either Tuesday or Wednesday, while the Red Devils are aware of the Serie A sides’ interest in the Chilean.
Furthermore, United are ‘open-minded’ about letting the 30-year-old leave on loan – but only if the terms are acceptable.
Somewhat expectedly, United would likely have to subsidise any deal that’d see Sanchez move to the San Siro this summer, though it’s still a possibility that the #7 stays (and plays) at United this summer due to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not having a wealth of attacking options.
Personally, I’d like to see Sanchez leave. He’s been nothing but a hindrance ever since walking through the Old Trafford doors, while those hefty wages were always going to be a major problem.
The Red Devils should just cut their losses and get Sanchez out of the building. Who knows, a loan move away could revive his career and if Inter opt to send him back to United in twelve months time, there may well be more interest in an in-form Sanchez rather than a struggling one…
