Man United player ratings vs Bournemouth from 5-2 Premier League win

David de Gea – Pretty poor. Was beaten too easily at his near post and his distribution was woeful. 3/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Played some lovely balls into the box but he was uncharacteristically sloppy when defending at times today. 5/10

Victor Lindelof – Did his job for the most part. Kept it pretty simple. 6/10

Harry Maguire – Not great. Got megged far too easily for Bournemouth’s first. His passing was careless at times, too. 3/10

Luke Shaw – Probably United’s best defender on the field. Always offered an outlet when going forward too. Well played. 6/10

Nemanja Matic – Probably his poorest game since the restart. Not particularly bad, but less involved than in recent weeks. 5/10

Paul Pogba – Flawless. Sprayed some lovely passes all over the field. Led by example and deserved a goal. 8/10

Bruno Fernandes – He’s an absolute magician. Two assists and another stunning goal to add to his tally. Bruno just makes it happen. 9/10

Marcus Rashford – Played a lovely ball into Bruno in the early-going. Scored from the penalty spot. Slowly finding his feet. 7/10

Mason Greenwood – Scored two absolute pearlers and continues to play with a maturity beyond his years. I’m still not sure which his strongest foot is… 9/10

Anthony Martial – Curled one in beautifully from outside the box to make it 3-1. Led from the front nicely. 7/10

Subs:

Eric Bailly – Started sloppily but got better as the game wore on.

Fred – Looked sharp when he came on.

Juan Mata – The link-up with Bruno was excellent.

Daniel James – Played a lovely ball into the box and looked up for it.

Odion Ighalo – Nice to see him out there again. Probably should have made it six.
