Manchester United’s Anthony Martial could be in hot water with the club, after throwing a water bottle at a member of the club’s backroom staff.
The incident took place as the Red Devils lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium with The Sun, as per The Metro, claiming that tempers boiled over after the game.
Obviously, it was a frustrating match for Manchester United, but you cannot be throwing projectiles across a dressing room under any circumstances.
Usually, Martial is a cool customer on the field and after the game, he’d had it all bottled up inside of him and he needed a release.
It doesn’t seem to have affected Jose Mourinho’s mindset when selecting Martial for games, however, as the Frenchman has been an integral part of the United team since the loss in London a few weeks ago.
With the Champions League restarting on Wednesday and the Red Devils enjoying an excellent FA Cup run, it’s probably best for all involved that this is forgotten about as soon as possible, allowing Martial to focus on what he does best.; starting with putting in a brilliant display against Sevilla in two days time.
