Spanish giants FC Barcelona are monitoring Anthony Martial’s situation at Manchester United, reports Mundo Deportivo, translated by the Daily Mail.
Apparently, the Catalan side are weighing up a move for the 21-year-old due to the fact that he is being used in a rotational system, meaning Martial hasn’t been able to nail down a regular starting berth.
That hasn’t stopped the former AS Monaco man putting in some brilliant performances, though. He’s recently picked up Manchester United’s September Player of the Month award for a scintillating few weeks of football.

Barcelona are currently short of options out on the left-hand side with Denis Suarez and Gerard Deulofeu the only options at Ernesto Valverde’s disposal at this point in time.
Of course, it’s pretty obvious that Martial is by far and away better than the aforementioned pair of players, meaning the interest could well be genuine because he’d be a significant upgrade.
I just don’t see Mourinho letting him leave anytime soon, though. This is a player who’ll have a huge say in the title race this season, and with Manchester City firing in goals for fun, United need all the firepower they can get.
