Manchester United Football Club have always been known for producing young talent. Their latest starlet, Marcus Rashford, is flourishing within the first-team.
However, the 20-year-old is being targeted for a loan switch to another Premier League side. That’s what the Daily Mail are writing, per the Manchester Evening News.
The sides named are Everton, Newcastle United and Leicester City, but honestly, I’m not quite sure why they’re trying to prise him away from Old Trafford.
Last season, Rashford played in 52 games, which is a remarkable number given his age. The Englishman was a key player for Jose Mourinho; although he didn’t start every single week.
I just don’t see United sanctioning a loan move for arguably their most talented footballer, particularly as he’s playing regularly while improving week-on-week. Sure, he’d probably get more minutes elsewhere, but the teams listed have fewer games on offer, with the Red Devils fighting it out in Europe too…
If Mourinho does let Rashford leave, I’d be absolutely astounded. He seems to trust the Englishman far more than he does Anthony Martial, and I fully expect the Frenchman to depart from United much sooner than the Red Devils’ #19.
