Manchester United’s form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been impeccable. The Red Devils have won nine and drawn one, including some hugely impressive away victories.
Next up is a trip to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham. The game will be tougher than most think as Claudio Ranieri teams are usually extremely well organised.
Before the game, though, Solskjaer has confirmed a double defensive injury blow. The Baby Faced Assassin claims that both Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian will be missing for a couple of weeks.
There was some better news, however, with Marcos Rojo now back in training.
“Rojo has been training for a few days, so he’s back in training,“ said Ole per ManUtd.com. ”But we’ve lost Antonio and Matteo through niggles for a couple of weeks.
“We’re still not bad. We’ve got 20-21 players training every day, so that’s good.”
This leaves us extremely light in the full-back positions. Right now, we’ve only got Luke Shaw, Ashley Young and Diogo Dalot fit and available to play and if another one of those guys go down with injury, we’re in serious trouble.
Hopefully, the lads can get through the next fortnight unscathed until the back-up is back and raring to go. With games coming thick and fast, it could actually play into our hands having some consistency in such a vital area of the field.
