Man United targeting winger in £60million move, club desperate to keep him: report

Manchester United Football Club are eyeing a £60million move for Chelsea star Willian.

Jose Mourinho wants a reunion with the Brazil international, whom he worked with at Stamford Bridge during their title-winning season just a few years ago.

The Daily Mail, per The Mirror, say that the self-proclaimed Special One is ready to test Chelsea’s resolve with a huge bid for the 29-year-old; who only started twenty Premier League games under Antonio Conte.

Right-wing has been a real issue for the Red Devils. No single player has been able to lock that position down in the team, and there could well be an opening for Willian should this move happen.

We know how much Mourinho loves the ready-made player, he adores someone who works tirelessly for 90 minutes. Willian fits the bill perfectly and there is no doubt in my mind that he’d be an upgrade on our starting line-up.

Call me daft, call me stupid, but I’d sell Anthony Martial and bring in the Brazil international. That’s not me saying that Martial isn’t a top talent, he obviously is, but there is no sense in keeping three left-wingers on the books, while having no elite right-winger.
