Manchester United Football Club could be on the verge of sealing their third major signing, according to the usually reliable journalist Pilib De Brun, who works for NBC Sports He took to Twitter to confirm the news that Ivan Perisic should be joining the Old Trafford club next week.
He also adds that the Red Devils are bracing themselves regarding David de Gea, as they expect Madrid to come back in with another offer. However, if that’s the case, Jose Mourinho would be happy starting the season with Sergio Romero and Joel Pereira as our goalkeepers.
Perisic should be joining Utd next week. Utd still expecting Madrid to move for DDG, if he goes JM would be happy with Romero & Pereira.

Well, you have to say it’s been a pretty good week for Pilib. Last week, he was the first to conduct an official interview with Romelu Lukaku for NBC Sports, and it looks as though he’s first with another scoop here.
At first, I have to admit I wasn’t all the excited at the thought of bringing in Perisic, but looking at it, the Croatia international would be a brilliant addition for us.
At 28, he’d bring some much-needed experience, and he’s a winger who actually hugs the touchline and whips crosses into the box, which would be a change from the usual cutting inside which we’ve become accustomed to over the last few seasons.
Now, it’s down to Edward Woodward to get a deal over the line as quickly as possible, so Perisic can get involved in our pre-season friendlies sooner rather than later.
