Man United willing to make striker target their highest paid with unbelievable wage: report

Manchester United Football Club are right up there in terms of being one of the richest sports brands on the globe. With that in mind, it tends to give us an edge over most when it comes to persuading players to make the move to Old Trafford. Having that superior bank balance could well have come in handy once again.

The Metro, citing Marca, are claiming that if Alvaro Morata makes the move to the Theatre of Dreams this summer,  he will earn an absolutely huge £373,000-a-week – making him the highest-paid player at the club.

Paul Pogba is currently the top earner at United right now, who earns a staggering £290,000-a-week as per the Daily Star. If the 24-year-old Morata does sign, he’d eclipse that fee pretty significantly – and that tells you all you need to know about how valuations of players seem to be skyrocketing at the moment.

Morata is a footballer that Jose Mourinho will know extremely well from their time together at Real Madrid. For me, I think he’d be the perfect striker for us to sign as I’m of the opinion that his style of play is suited to Premier League football, and I, for one, am excited at the prospect of signing him.

I must say though, that if those weekly wages are true, that’s a staggering amount of money to pay someone who isn’t of that elite level yet – despite having the potential to reach the top tier of football.
