Manchester United have been heading in the right direction under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the Baby Faced Assassin making a huge impact in proceedings on the field.
Now, it looks as though the interim manager has been having his say in stuff that takes place off the turf – namely transfers.
According to Bergens Tindende, translated by the Daily Mirror, Solskjaer has swiped 14-year-old wonderkid Isak Hansen-Aaroen from right under Liverpool’s nose, and he’s set to move to Old Trafford from Tromso IL.
The young Norwegian has probably been influenced by his countryman Solskjaer, and although he cannot actually move to United until he turns sixteen, a contractual agreement can be put in place.
As I always say with players this age, you just never know how it’s going to work out, particularly when moving to a new country as a teenager. It’s tough.
For Hansen-Aaroen, he’ll be moving to the best possible place to learn, develop and grow as a professional footballer. Who knows, this may well be a name to keep an eye out for in future, and to hear that we’ve beaten out competition from Liverpool to sign him makes it all-the-sweeter.
