Man United would consider moving for Harry Kane if he were available: report

In the January transfer window, Manchester United sanctioned a short-term move for Odion Ighalo. Credit where it’s due, the Nigerian has been brilliant since moving to Manchester. However, we’re all unsure as to whether he’s the long-term solution…

A new striker will be needed at some point. Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial simply isn’t enough. Enter Harry Kane…

According to 90min.com, it is being claimed that United ‘would consider’ a move for the prolific 26-year-old Englishman should he become available.

Well, he’s never going to be on the market, I hear you cry… 90min.com also add that Kane’s representatives are ‘exploring options’ for a potential move away from White Hart Lane…

Look, Kane is world-class. We all know just how good he is at sticking the ball in the back of the net and any side is immediately better with him in it.

Apparently, United have already ‘set in stone’ their plans to strengthen in other positions, but Kane is the sort of player you change your strategy for. Superstars like this don’t come around very often and the Reds should be all over it if they have any chance at making the deal happen.

Yes, negotiations with Daniel Levy won’t be easy, they never are, while Kane is under a long-term contract in North London. It’d probably take all summer, and the chances would be slim, but United should pursue this one all the way…
