Well, it doesn’t look like Manchester United’s injury woes are going to ease up anytime soon…
According to Goal, Anthony Martial won’t make the trip back to his homeland as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claimed that the 23-year-old isn’t yet back in training.
The speedy winger picked up a problem a fortnight or so ago and we haven’t seen him since. Without his pace, trickery and overall brilliance things are obviously going to be much tougher.
However, problems have gone from bad to worse with Alexis Sanchez now sidelined, and now Solskjaer’s squad is looking more depleted than ever.
Hopefully, Martial isn’t missing for too much longer because we’ve got some huge games just on the horizon. His pace could be essential for our next league fixture away at Arsenal this coming Sunday.
It’s a tricky situation because United are obviously 2-0 down and looking down and out, but if we score an early goal you just never know what can happen.
Well, Martial’s likely loss is another’s gain and perhaps we’ll see some more of Diogo Dalot or Tahith Chong. Either would provide that youthful fearlessness that could well be key to grinding out a result…
