Man United’s world-class star set to undergo scan on injury today, leaves Jose Mourinho sweating

Manchester United Football Club are sweating on the results regarding Paul Pogba’s injury, with the Frenchman having a scan today on what looked like a hamstring problem. That’s what Sky Sports News say, who adds that Jose Mourinho will likely give us an update during Friday’s press conference.

The 24-year-old picked up the injury in the first half of the match against FC Basel, which the Red Devils won 3-0. However, it was a bittersweet result due to the problem suffered by our captain on the night.

Pogba has made a stunning start to his second season back at the Theatre of Dreams, and honestly, this couldn’t have happened at a worse time because now is when the fixtures start coming thick and fast.

To be without our star player for any prolonged period of time is going to be tough to take, and no Mourinho will probably be weighing up his options ahead of the Everton match this weekend – after the self-proclaimed Special One has already ruled Pogba out.

In his absence, Marouane Fellaini played an absolute blinder against the Swiss champions in our Champions League opener, and now it’s up to the big Belgian to continue that form, because, in my opinion, he deserves a start.
