Manchester United’s Louis van Gaal admitted that transfers (both ins and outs) have already been agreed, and the club could have their second signing after Memphis Depay according to the usually reliable Duncan Castles.
Castles reckons United will sign Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund, and he’ll follow Memphis Depay through the Old Trafford entrance in the not too distant future.
Gundogan, 24, has already announced that he will be leaving his current side, with a whole host of clubs fighting for the German international’s signature.
It looks as though United have won the race already though, with Sky Sports saying that a deal between the two clubs was close – and that was over a month ago.
Louis van Gaal has been adamant that the club needs another deep-lying midfielder at United, and Gundogan would be a fantastic acquisition in that spot.
