Man Utd ‘confident’ De Gea will sign after huge offer

Manchester United clearly haven’t gave up hope on David de Gea just yet, with another huge contract offer reportedly on the table for the current club Player of the Year. According to The Independent, he has been offered a huge £200,000-a-week.

The Independent go on to say that United are confident De Gea will agree to extend his stay at the Theatre of Dreams, despite reports suggesting that he could well be on his way home to Madrid as soon as the transfer window opens.

Honestly this one is difficult to call. I genuinely think it all depends on  whether United make it into the Champions League for next term, and with just two more wins under our belt that will be signed, sealed and delivered.

De Gea seems happy in Manchester, and he is loved by everyone here. Why not sign a new deal, stay for a couple more years and go to Madrid when Casillas is done, that’d also mean he’d be helping the club out as we could command a higher fee for his signature.
