Manchester United have lacked a real goal threat for the majority of the season, with Wayne Rooney topping the scoring charts and he’s barely into double figures. Thankfully the midfield have chipped in with a few goals, but the lack of a goalscorer will have to change next season.
According to The Times, Manchester United are thinking about making a huge £40million offer for Harry Kane after some stunning performances from the young striker at Spurs this season.
Kane, 21, has really set the world alight with his goal tally in England this year, and he’s right up there contesting for the golden boot despite only becoming a regular in the first-team in October.
There is no doubt that he has huge potential, but a move to Manchester United this summer would be a year too soon for me. Let him develop more at Tottenham before jumping the gun on this one, because it could well go down as one of the biggest flops in United’s history if this move doesn’t work out.
