Man Utd ‘considering’ signing experienced Argentine striker

Manchester United have been relying solely on Wayne Rooney’s goals for the majority of this season, with Radamel Falcao failing to impress and Robin van Persie struggling to string a run of games together.

However, those problems could be about to change, as United are considering signing the Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain.

The 27-year old has been in stunning form for the Serie A side recently, and Louis van Gaal is a keen admirer of the Argentinian according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Its looking likely that Radamel Falcao won’t be at the club next season so we definitely need a world class striker to come in and replace those goals. Higuain certainly fits that bill – there aren’t many more clinical finishers out there.

Would Higuain be a good signing? Leave your thoughts in the comment box below.
