Manchester United are set to complete a lot of big name signings this summer, with a whole host of players including Sergio Ramos and Bastian Schweinsteiger constantly mentioned. However alongside that Louis van Gaal will trim his squad down, and the latest player who has been linked with a move away is a bit of a shock.
According to the Daily Record, Celtic are set to swoop for Manchester United’s former Young Player of the Year, Saidy Janko.
Jank, 19, is touted as a future right-back build in the mould of Antonio Valencia, whom Moyes paid around £700,000 to bring to Old Trafford in the summer before last.
Last season he spent the second half of it on loan at Bolton Wanderers, where he impressed under the guidance of Neil Lennon.
It would be a bit of a shock to see him leave, but you’d imagine that Louis van Gaal will reject all approaches for the versatile Swiss player.
