Man Utd dealt blow as summer target pens new contract

Manchester United have been dealt a huge blow in pursuit of one of their reported transfer targets, as the Brazilian youngster Marquinhos has penned a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain – Meaning that if United want to lure him to Old Trafford they’ll have to pay through the roof.

He has only added one-year to his contract in Paris, but it clearly signals his intent to stay in the French capital and progress there rather than moving on.

At twenty, the defender has already played over sixty times for PSG and when you add that to his time with Roma, he already has 100 professional appearances under his belt.

There is no doubting his talents, but for me Manchester United someone much more senior with plenty of experience at the highest level.
