Man Utd dealt transfer blow as manager rules out move

Manchester United have already begun working on potential deals for the summer, but one of those targets has suffered somewhat of a setback, as Paris Saint-Germain’s manager Laurent Blanc has said that the young defender Marquinhos is not for sale, and furthermore they want to extend his deal.

“Marquinhos has a spirit and a special mentality.” Blanc said.

“We have done everything to keep him and we will do everything possible to extend his contract.

“It is good that as a player he can operate in different defensive roles, and let’s not forget he is just 20 years old.” The former United man added.

There is no doubt that Marquinhos is one talented individual, but for me, Manchester United need someone wit much more experience who can come into the side and lead from the back.

Would Marquinhos be a good signing? Leave your thoughts in the comment box below.
