Man Utd defensive pair ruled out of Palace game

Manchester United need just four points to secure European football for next season, and three points away at Crystal Palace tomorrow will all-but seal the deal. Louis van Gaal has a few selection problems on his hands however…

Manchester United will be without the centre-back pair of Marcos Rojo and Jonny Evans, both of whom have been missing for quite a while but are yet to recover fully.

Marcos Rojo is suffering from a groin problem, although he did return to training this week he isn’t anywhere near fit enough to start a game, but could well sneak a place on the bench due to other injuries.

It looks as though Jonny Evans’ season is over already. Following a six-game ban for spitting and a couple of niggling injuries, I’d be surprised to see him feature in the starting line-up ever again, as he may well be sold this summer.
