Manchester United’s season culminates with the Wembley showpiece tomorrow evening, with Louis van Gaal going head-to-head against Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace. The club haven’t won the FA Cup in twelve years, and it’d certainly be excellent to lift the oldest trophy in football history.
With Louis van Gaal only able to select a squad of eighteen, there was obviously some big calls to make. Memphis Depay hasn’t been included in the squad, which is probably fair.
However Manchester United fans were left outraged when the news broke that Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has also been left out of the match day squad, which is just extremely cruel.
In Marcos Rojo’s absence, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has been nothing short of superb – especially when you factor in just how poorly Rojo has been playing of late.
This honestly makes us fear the worst going into the game, as Rojo will have the likes of Wilfried Zaha and Yannick Bolasie running at him for 90 minutes, which is obviously going to be tough based on current form.

Memphis' performances haven't warranted a spot in the FA Cup final squad. Gutted for CBJ though. pic.twitter.com/IptowCq0BX

To be fair Memphis doesn’t deserve a place in the squad but CBJ exclusion is just classic dick LVG isn’t it. Rojo is atrocious! #MUFC

Playing Rojo over CBJ could cost us the Cup. It’s a disastrous decision from van Gaal. Thankfully LVG will be gone after this game. #LVGOUT

You can get your head around Memphis not included in the squad, but to drop CBJ for Rojo is crazy & goes against LVGs ‘POLICY’ too if true

Rojo in the squad and CBJ dropped. I can see the Argentinian clown costing us multiple goals tomorrow.

LVG had a golden opportunity to prove his trust and faith in youth was genuine. Dropping CBJ for Rojo blows that out of the water. #MUFC
