Paul Pogba left Manchester United in acrimonious circumstances a few years ago now, and the talented Frenchman has made great inroads into the game we all love, and is now an accomplished midfielder who is regarded as one of the best at his job.

The club received a mere £300,000 in compensation when he left the club due to his age, but now his value has skyrocketed, and reports suggest Louis van Gaal is keen on bringing him back to Manchester.

The news comes from France Football, who suggest that United have held talks with Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola. The 22-year old has no problems with coming back to the club, but would demand a huge £165,000-a-week in wages if he were to return.

Those huge wages would be on top of a massive transfer fee, meaning this would probably be one of the most expensive moves in the club history.

Personally I’d welcome Pogba back with open arms. He’s the complete midfielder who has the potential to be one of the best in the world if he isn’t already.
