Manchester United’s problems up front seem to have stemmed from a lack of pace, and utilising two strikers who seem to flourish in one-striker formations rather than the two Louis van Gaal is playing at the moment. That has led to United’s reported interest in this Inter Milan starlet.
Icardi, 21, has been in stunning from in the Serie A this year, finding the back of the net 13 times in his 22 appearances. The man from Argentina is being targeted by Chelsea and Juventus as well as Manchester United, according to The Express.
Milan value Icardi at around £30million, which is a big gamble to take on an unproven 21-year old. However, when you factor in that Radamel Falcao would cost United £40million, its a risk definitely worth taking in the modern game.
