Manchester United kick off their FA Cup campaign against Yeovil Town on Sunday, with Louis van Gaal probably seeing this as an opportunity to utilise some of the youth players currently in and around the first-team squad.
The game will also be a good opportunity for players returning from injury, namely Ander Herrera. According to injury expert Ben Dinnery, Herrera is in line to start on Sunday, which is a great boost for United’s league aspirations this season too.
Herrera has arguably been our best central midfielder in an attacking sense this season, and he brings some much-needed creativity and balance to a slow Manchester United midfield.
Dinnery also adds that Angel di Maria could return to action in the FA Cup clash at Huish Park also, but it’ll come to soon for Marouane Fellaini, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo.
AdM could return for the FA Cup but Fellaini, Blind & Rojo are all doubts — Herrera is likely to start having recovered from injury #MUFC
