Manchester United’s summer targets would’ve already been identified by now, and its now over to Edward Woodward to secure these deals for the best possible price, and lure some of the worlds best to Old Trafford.
One player who looks a certainty to arrive is Memphis Depay, with Louis van Gaal keen to hook up with the player whom he brought into the Dutch national side just over a year ago.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United are confident about signing Depay, and are ready to pay him up to £130,000-a-week to secure the deal.
Depay has been in scintillating form in the Eredivisie this season, scoring over twenty goals for PSV, who have taken Ajax’s crown which they had held for the four years previous.
If United do sign Depay, it’d probably mean Adnan Januzaj will leave the club on loan as he searches for more playing time. The Belgian has only been a bit-part player for Van Gaal, who doesn’t seem keen on the starlet.
