Manchester United are looking to bolster their squad drastically ahead of their return to the Champions League in the coming campaign, and Louis van Gaal has seemingly already identified most of his transfer targets.
According to A’Bola, Manchester United have already completed their second signing, and it comes in the form of a €30milllion move for Nico Gaitan of Benfica.
The 27-year old has been linked with United a few times, and after another stunning season in which he helped his side to another league title the rumours seem inevitable.
The playmaking/winger spots are two positions where United have plenty of options, so this deal wouldn’t make much sense unless the club were planning to offload a few plays in those areas.
I would take this one with a pinch of salt for now though, because this is probably the third time United have reportedly completed a deal for Gaitan in the last few seasons…
