Man Utd reportedly complete first bit of transfer business

Manchester United seemingly aren’t messing around when it comes to this summer’s transfer window. Louis van Gaal has probably already eyed his preferred targets, and one of those has already agreed to join the club.

The news comes from David McDonnell, who was on MUTV earlier this evening.

He claimed that a deal for Clyne is already in place and he’ll be a Manchester United player in the not too distant future.

Clyne has hugely impressed for an improving Southampton side this season, so-much-so that he has since earned his first few caps for England’s full national team.

With just over a year on his contract, this deal won’t be one of the more expensive ones made in the transfer window, but it could well prove to be one of the best as United haven’t had a consistent right-back in a few seasons.

Would Clyne be a good signing? Leave your thoughts in the comment box below.
